Benda My Beautiful Wonderful Dog

It is now for over 4 years that we have Benda in our family. Wherever we go, Benda is always with us as long as it is possible for her to come with.

It was not our plan of having a Dog in our family. It was a wish of our daughter and son to have one. I myself never wanted to have a Dog in our house.

One night my daughter was looking in the Internet and studying about Eurasier Dogs and showed me some pictures of the very cute baby Eurasiers Dogs. She was asking some information in the Eurasier Dog agency about the possibility of having a baby dog and how long we have to wait for a baby Dog to be born.

The agency called her back about the possibility of having an 8 weeks old baby Eurasier Dog in the month of November 2006.

We have visited the agency and spent some times getting to know more about Eurasier Dogs until the time has come to see the baby Dogs and for the first time, i was in love with Benda as she comes to me and have her in my hands and carry her.

Benda was born on the 19th of September 2006. She is the biggest and strongest of the 8 baby Dogs.

She is very cute, beautiful and she loves to sit on my lap and be caress. From that moment she touches a part of my heart and has taken a place of it.

It was not so complicated with her as we took her in our house. The first few days she always stayed under the piano and look through the reflection of her like a mirror and makes little noise or sob as if she misses her brothers, sisters and parents. She seeks comfort and love to be taken on our lap.

She loves to walk around in our garden or take a little walk outside to make her business. One night she stumbled in the carpet and cried for pain in her leg that all of us were afraid that she was terribly hurt and make any fractures that we brought her emergency to the doctor and us we entered in the doctors office, to our surprise she was walking normally without difficulty. We went home happy that she was o.k.

She is a calm dog and wants to be near to us. She lies under the dining table while we eat or in the living room when we watch TV.

Benda is growing up and she is a very caring dog. She manage to be alone a few hours in the house. She is very friendly to other dogs and surely protects us and our house from danger etc. She loves to take a long daily walk, she loves snow and play snowball with us. She loves to play ball at home, play most with my son.

Benda is afraid of thunder and fireworks. She doesn't like loud music, she doesn't like to take a bath.

She comes to greet us good morning everyday as soon as we are awake, waits for children and my husband coming home and is so very happy when they come home. She is so happy that she wants to be embrace, shows her love, loyalty, respect to all of us.

Benda knows what she wants and has her own will to be respected. She is very sensitive and doesn't like under pressure to do anything she hates.

The love we give to Benda is 100x returned from her. Her honesty and loyalty is forever without doubt and questions. This we feel to our wonderful Benda, a feeling of fulfillment and happiness with her, a different experience of feeling and love we value from our wonderful Benda.

The History and Breeding of Eurasier Dogs

In the 1950's - with the goal of a strong character and family companion dog to cerate, Julius Wipfel in Weinheim, Bergstrasse (Germany) crossed the Wolf Spitz with Chow-Chow. This resulted in the rough "altstämmigen" Eurasians (or Wolf-Chow).Crossing the friendly Samoyed finally result of the elegance and the balanced creature. The idea was given by Konrad Lorenz, Austrianethologist and Nobel laureate.

The efforts of the pioneers were successful. In 1973, The new breed was recognized by the FCI. Today thousands of Eurasians form a solid base in Europe for the breeding of healthy dogs.

Features
Eurasian come in all colors of the wolf. Even in the character theyare distinctive individuals, not "bred by" unity dog. And so it should stay.

The breed originated from Wolf Spitz, Chow Chow and Samoyed. They are ruddy, black, black with white markings, fawn and different shades of red. Eurasians are just individuals, not only in appearance.

Eurasians are watchful, quiet, friendly, very family oriented and strangers disinterested assistance dogs. Although easy to train, they retain their independent personality. What they are not: barker, hunter or commonplace dogs.

I enjoyed your lovely photos, and thank you for sharing your story. You are lucky to have Benda, and you are a nice family. Look after each other, and have lots of happiness.

We have a male Eurasier Olympia /Oli/. He is 1 years old now. Calm, gentle, and friendly. The only problem is, that in our walks He would never come back if I let him off the lead to run. What about yours? Do you have any idea why is this, or what to do? Also we feed him a normal doggy diet, but in the end of our walks his pooh is very loose, other time is normal, and He is healthy, active. Thank you for your help, and concern: Naomi

I also had the same problem as Benda was younger, we used to walk with the lead or she would room around until she was 4 years, she has now learn a lot. We also went to the dog school but she did not like to stay long in the school.

Benda has not so much appetite to eat. The other days she eats a lot, 2 or 3 days not to much.

It takes patience to teach a young dog, but they understand a lot and will surely learn if we train them.

Good luck and have more fun with your dog.

Thanks for dropping by and hope to hear from you and your dog sometime.
